Shuttle Rack
Shuttle racking is an advanced warehousing storage solution that is based on a specialized rack system featuring built-in tracks.
Shuttles move freely within this racking system. During operation, a forklift first places the pallet loaded with goods into the starting position of the rack. The shuttle then takes over, precisely transporting the pallet along the tracks to a designated storage depth or height within the rack.
For retrieval, the process is reversed: the shuttle brings the pallet from its internal storage location to an extraction point at the rack's front, where the forklift then picks it up. This mode significantly increases space utilization, enabling dense goods storage.
Compared to fully automated systems, it offers a more economical initial investment and operational maintenance, representing an effective balance between high-density storage and semi-automated efficiency.
Application Advantages:
- Flexible Storage Modes
·Supports switching between First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and Last-In, First-Out (LIFO) modes,
adapting to different turnover requirements.
·Four-way shuttles enable cross-aisle omnidirectional scheduling, reducing equipment idle
time by over 30%.
- Automation Upgrade
·Integrated with AGV and WMS systems, enabling 24/7 unmanned operation.
·Supports dual-mode operation on the ground and on tracks, with alignment accuracy ≤
2mm.
- Safety and Energy Efficiency
·Honeycomb structure uprights increase lateral resistance by 3 times, with an earthquake
resistance fortification intensity reaching level 8.
·Lithium-manganese batteries offer a cycle life ≥ 2000 times, with energy consumption
reduced by 40% compared to traditional systems.
