Mobile Rack
Electric Mobile Racking is a type of warehousing and logistics equipment designed for efficient storage and access. It utilizes electric motors to drive mobile carriages, enabling individual racks or entire rack aisles to move independently. This movement allows for the quick storage, retrieval, and transfer of goods by opening access aisles only when needed.
Typically, standard racking systems like beam racking or cantilever racking are mounted onto these mobile carriages. Electric motors power the carriages, allowing the entire racking unit to travel along tracks that are laid on the warehouse floor.
Each rack unit usually has its own motor. Wheels located beneath the rack run along these floor tracks. The system employs variable frequency speed control (VFD), ensuring that the racks move smoothly from start to stop, providing a very high level of operational safety.
Application Scenarios:
Electric mobile racking is suitable for a variety of applications, including the storage of factory raw materials, industrial finished products, food or beverages, document mangement, and molds, as well as in logistics warehouses or cold storage facilities.
